Purple Mazar Auto is bred for camouflage as much as anything - small, unassuming, content to blend into the flowerbed rather than announce itself. Dried buds turn almost black, with an odd pine-and-wild-berry smell that belies the quiet look. The effect is strongly relaxing, well suited to medicinal use.
Where it comes from
Purple and Mazar joined to a Ruderalis, Kalashnikov Seeds' contribution to the autoflowering shelf, and one bred with an unusually practical brief. The purple colouring here is treated as camouflage: small, dark and unassuming, content to blend into a flowerbed rather than announce itself to a passing eye. Mazar lends the Afghani weight, the Ruderalis the clock. A discreet plant, in every sense the record intends.
Nose & flavour
The record lists no formal flavour profile, but describes the smell plainly enough: pine with notes of wild berries, and unusual with it, the dried buds turning almost black, which rather belies the fruit underneath. A woodland nose, dark and a little strange, at odds with the quiet look of the plant.
