Named after the notorious AK-47, one digit further along, though nobody at Vision Seeds explains quite what the upgrade entails. Colombian, Mexican, Thai and Afghani genetics underneath; the effect is strongly uplifting, with real therapeutic use against pain, nausea and headaches. Compact, crystal-heavy, and unbothered by difficult weather.
Where it comes from
Vision Seeds named her after the AK-47, advancing the number by one and leaving the rest to the imagination. The genetics underneath are older than the reference: Colombian, Mexican and Thai landraces, three equatorial sativas, anchored by a single Afghani for backbone and structure. It is a classic recipe, the sort that built the sativa-dominant hybrids of the early nineties, and the 35/65 indica-to-sativa split reflects exactly that ancestry. Little mystery to the breeding, then, whatever the numeral suggests.
Nose & flavour
No flavour notes are recorded for her, and I will not invent any. What the description offers instead is a single word, flavourful, and the character of the parentage, which pairs the brightness of equatorial sativa stock against an Afghani base. Take that as the shape of the thing rather than a promise of any particular note.
The high
Strong and uplifting is as far as the record commits, and on 20% THC that is a fair account of it. The sativa lean does most of the work, keeping the head bright and the body largely out of the way. No listed effects beyond that, so I will leave it there rather than embroider. Approach the strength on its own terms.
Growing it
Compact for a sativa-dominant plant, holding to around 50cm, which makes her more tractable indoors than her lineage might threaten. Flowering settles at 63 days. The record credits 450g/m² indoors and up to 500g per plant outdoors, and notes she yields well across virtually any weather, a hardiness that reads as the Afghani earning its keep.
