How to grow Xtreme Kush
Taste
Seb's take
OG Kush SVF crossed with Bubba Kush, an Indica-dominant hybrid grown branchy and dense, with internodal spacing stretched slightly to keep moisture at bay. Dark green leaves come crusted in resin, backing up a strong sedative, narcotic high best approached as you would a staircase in the dark. Eighteen per cent THC, medicinal in character, not one for novices.
Where it comes from
Xtreme Seeds crossed two recognised Kushes here — OG Kush SVF and Bubba Kush — for an indica-dominant hybrid at 90% to 10% sativa. Both parents are heavyweight names in their own right, and the cross was bred deliberately to out-resin its predecessors. The result develops into branchy bushes with very dense flowering sites, and internodal spacing stretched a touch longer than usual indicas to keep moisture from settling in the canopy.
Nose & flavour
The record logs no flavour notes, so I will not invent an aroma for it. What it does say is that this plant was bred for resin above its predecessors — even the dark green leaves come crusted in crystals — and the Kush parentage on both sides speaks to the earthy, fuel-tinged family character that name carries. Beyond that I will not guess; where the record is quiet, so am I.
The high
Known for extremely strong sedative effects, this is one to approach as you would a staircase in the dark — deliberately, and not on a busy day. The record frames it as medicinal in character and expressly not ideal for novice consumers, so I will simply note it is a heavy, deeply settling indica experience. Best saved for an evening when you have nowhere further to be. THC over 18%, with CBD alongside at 1.6 to 1.8%.
Growing it
A feminized plant grown branchy and bushy, with very dense flowering sites and internodal spacing stretched slightly on purpose to keep moisture at bay — a considerate bit of breeding for a plant this dense. Flowering runs 65 to 70 days, around nine to ten weeks at a standard pace, yielding a solid 500 to 600 g/m². The dark leaves and buds alike come crusted in resin, so keep your scissors clean. No height figure is logged. THC over 18%, CBD 1.6 to 1.8%.
