How to grow White Skunk
Taste
Seb's take
White Widow and Skunk combine into a short-to-medium, sturdy-branched plant that finishes fast, in just 7-8 weeks. The buds are dense and, true to name, do not travel discreetly. Happy, euphoric and relaxed at 18-22% THC, with a yield that rewards the short wait.
Where it comes from
White Label Seed Company crossed White Widow with Skunk and, in the record's phrasing, took the best out of both — the Widow's resin and reliability, the Skunk's vigour and funk. The result is well-balanced, easy to grow and highly potent, a plant that asks little and gives plenty. A straightforward, capable cross with no pretensions beyond doing the job well, which it plainly does.
Nose & flavour
Skunk leads, true to name, and she does not travel discreetly — citrus brightens the top, sweetness runs through the middle, and an earthy, pungent base holds the whole thing down. The buds come super-dense and smelly, on the record's own account. A loud, well-rounded profile that fills a room and makes no apology for it.
The high
Happy and euphoric at the outset, relaxed and uplifted through the middle, with a tingly thread running through it — a good-humoured, well-balanced effect rather than a flattening one. She lifts and settles in near-equal measure, keeping pleasant company either way. Agreeable across the board, and easy to spend an evening with.
Growing it
Short to medium and sturdy-branched, she finishes fast — just 7 to 8 weeks, or by the end of September outdoors, mid-October in harsher climates. The record gives an 80 to 120cm frame and a solid 400–550 g/m² across all setups and methods, at 18 to 22% THC. Strong, dense buds on strong branches make her forgiving to grow and generous to harvest. A quick, capable plant that rewards the short wait — just mind the aroma indoors.
