Seb's take

Seb Silverback

White Label crossed the award-winning White Haze with Ruderalis to get a Haze that essentially grows itself. Compact and easy to train, she copes with harsher climates thanks to the autoflowering habit, finishing in 9-11 weeks for a decent, if not spectacular, yield. Honest about what it is at 12-15% THC.

Where it comes from

White Label Seed Company crossed the award-winning White Haze with a newer, high-performance Ruderalis and, in their own words, produced a classic Haze that grows itself. The trick with any Haze is taming its unruliness, and the autoflowering habit does exactly that here — a famous, temperamental line rendered into something that finishes on its own schedule and copes with a harsher season. Sensible engineering around a celebrated parent.

Nose & flavour

The record does not set down her tasting notes, so I will not invent them. What it establishes is the pedigree — a classic White Haze standing behind her — and the Haze family's aromatics are well enough known without my putting words to this particular plant's nose. Judge her on acquaintance; the page is otherwise blank.

The high

No effect is logged in the record, so I will describe temperament rather than sensation. She descends from an award-winning Haze at a mild 12 to 15% THC, which points to the clearer, lighter end of the shelf rather than the heavy one. Honest about what she is — a gentle classic, not an overwhelming one.

Growing it

Compact and easy to handle, she trains well and makes a good choice indoors, while the autoflowering habit lets her finish in harsher climates outdoors too. The record has her flowering across 45 to 65 days, coming in at 9 to 11 weeks from germination, and starting to flower around weeks six or seven — a week or two longer if given plenty of root space. She stands 90 to 140cm and returns a modest 150–250 g/m². Not the biggest yielder, but a Haze that essentially runs itself.
