Where it comes from
Dutch Passion crossed Passion #1 with an autoflowering ruderalis-indica to raise Tundra, and the parentage is the whole story. Passion #1 is their long-standing outdoor champion, prized for health, pest resistance, early flowering and a soft, tasty smoke, and the ruderalis brings the automatic, cold-hardy finish. The name fits: a small, tough plant bred to shrug off short summers and poor weather, drawing its resilience straight from two lines chosen for exactly that endurance.
Nose & flavour
Spicy lemon and grapefruit, the record's own set and a bright one for so hardy a plant. The citrus leads, grapefruit and lemon together, over a spicy base that gives it a bit of warmth. A soft, agreeable smoke by the breeder's account, and a clean, zesty nose to match: nothing heavy or fuel-laden here, just a fresh, citrus-forward character that belies her rough-weather constitution.
The high
A mild up-high, the record's own phrasing, bright and gentle rather than heavy. This is the lighter end of the spectrum by design, a cheerful lift that keeps its feet on the ground.
