Where it comes from
A selection from Mendo Purps IBL by BC Bud Depot Seeds, bred as much for colour as for anything, and the name is no idle boast. She was chosen to run pure purple, dense buds that back up the label rather than merely gesturing at it. The breeder's own record notes a first-place Strain of the Year and a two-time BC Bud Depot Cannabis Cup title to her name, which is the sort of provenance that speaks for itself and requires no elaboration from me.
Nose & flavour
A deep purple grape flavour that lingers, sitting over fruity and berried notes with a bouquet the record calls tantalising. It is the grape that stays with you, the sort that remains long after the exhale has finished, rather than announcing itself and then departing. Fruit and berry underneath keep it from turning one-note. A nose that dresses for the occasion and lingers at the party.
The high
Uplifting and soaring, the record says, and notably without a burnout factor to close the account. This is the cheerful end of the spectrum: happy, euphoric, the mind lifted rather than pinned.
