Seb Silverback

Built from the best of the Skunk lines, carrying a pure Shiva aroma that gives away her lineage before you've even broken the seal. The high is sociable and uplifting yet relaxing, suited equally to conversation or quiet, meditative introspection.

Where it comes from

Dutch Passion built The Edge from the best of their Skunk lines — the record traces it no further than that, so neither will I. What comes through is a pure, Shiva-like Skunk character that gives away the lineage before the seal is even broken. Sativa-leaning at seventy-five percent. A plant that leans on Skunk heritage rather than novelty, and wears it plainly. Straightforward genetics, well selected.

Nose & flavour

The record names no formal notes, but the breeder is clear on the aroma: pure Skunk, reminiscent of Shiva — that sharp, pungent, unmistakable character the family is known for. She does not travel discreetly. I'll not dress it up past what's written; the Skunk speaks loudly enough for itself, and needs no help from me.

The high

The breeder describes a hybrid effect that works both ways — sociable and uplifting at the front, relaxing underneath, well-suited to quiet, meditative introspection as much as to company. At twenty-one percent THC there's genuine weight behind it. A versatile lift, then: lively enough for a gathering, calm enough for a quiet hour alone.

Growing it

A tidy, predictable grow: flowering in around sixty days, with a manageable height of about 100cm — no headroom crisis for a sativa-leaning plant. Yields sit between 400 and 500 g/m². The Skunk heritage tends toward vigour and reliability, so she comes up even and unfussy. A straightforward plant that asks little and finishes on schedule, well within the reach of a grower still finding their feet.
