Where it comes from
Pyramid Seeds crossed Hindu Kush with OG Kush to make Super OG Kush, an 80 per cent indica that gives the classic Kush aroma its full due. Both parents are Kush through and through, so there are no surprises in the pedigree and none are needed: the Hindu Kush brings the mountain heaviness, the OG the pine and fuel character that made it a cornerstone. A plant that promises the familiar Kush signature and delivers precisely that, without embellishment.
Nose & flavour
The classic Kush nose, plainly stated: pine and lemon over a base of earth, no surprises and none required. The pine leads, the lemon brightens it, and the earth grounds the whole thing in the way the lineage insists. A recognisable, satisfying aroma rather than an inventive one, honest about exactly what it is and comfortable in that skin.
The high
Calm, happy and relaxed, the effect settles the body and lightens the mood in equal measure. It is the companionable indica sort, easing you into ease without flattening you entirely, and it keeps enough cheer to stay pleasant throughout. Growing it
Medium to large plants reaching 75 to 150cm, growing fast and vigorously from the start of vegetation, so a grower should not leave the switch to flowering too late. Dark green leaves carry large, heavy flowers, and the plant finishes in a fast 55 days. Indoors she returns a solid 500 g/m² and more, while a single outdoor plant can give anywhere from 500 to 1500g. THC sits at 20 per cent, with a touch of CBD. All of it achieved with relative ease, which is much of the appeal.
