How to grow Stinkin' Bishop
Taste
Seb's take
Afghan Kush and Super Skunk, named honestly for a nose that does not travel discreetly - spiced, pungent, and cheesy in the way only a proper Skunk cross manages. The high runs relaxed and euphoric with a welcome jolt of energy. Slightly indica-leaning, and forgiving of a first-time grower.
Where it comes from
Afghan Kush and Super Skunk stand behind this one, and the name is honest advertising - a nose that does not travel discreetly. The Afghan supplies the weight and the resin; the Super Skunk supplies the reek that any proper Skunk cross carries with pride. Slightly indica-leaning, and the sort of unmistakable ancestry that announces itself before the jar is even open.
Nose & flavour
Spice, cheese and pungency in equal, forceful measure - the register only a real Skunk cross reaches. This is not a subtle plant, and it has no interest in pretending otherwise. Extra stinky by design, and best kept behind good ventilation and a sealed lid.
The high
Relaxed and euphoric, with a welcome jolt of energy that keeps it from sinking entirely - a lasting impression, as the record has it, and an agreeable one. The indica lean settles the body while the Skunk side keeps a little life in the limbs. Balanced enough to enjoy without clearing the whole evening.
Growing it
A good first plant - forgiving of a beginner's enthusiasm, with growth and yield potential that flatter the effort. Height runs 100 to 160cm, so give her the headroom, especially toward the top of that range. Flowering takes fifty-six to sixty-three days for around 500 g/m², with THC at 20 per cent. The main thing to plan for is the smell; she will fill a room, so manage the air before she manages it for you.
