DNA Genetics took their Sorbet line, apparently found it wanting, and added Sour Diesel's fuel to sharpen it up. Frosty, dense, Christmas-tree colas front a diesel-edged nose over the base sweetness. Medium to tall, and finished in nine weeks, a little longer if the weather turns uncooperative.
Where it comes from
DNA Genetics took their Sorbet line, evidently found it wanting for some tastes, and reached for Sour Diesel to sharpen it - an award-winning, potent parent that folds fuel and diesel into the sweetness. A sixty-per-cent indica hybrid, and one more entry in a family the breeder seems determined to cross against everything it owns. Here the addition is edge: diesel over the dessert. The Sorbet name endures; the character gets a jolt.
Nose & flavour
Diesel sharpens the top of the nose while Sorbet's base sweetness holds underneath - a fuel-and-dessert pairing that is more interesting than either alone. The buds come frosty, dense, and shaped like little Christmas trees, so the aroma clings to them and to your fingers. The record leaves the finer notes unwritten, but the diesel-over-sweet framing is clear enough. Sharp on top, sweet beneath.
The high
No effects are recorded and the strength on paper is not one I would repeat as fact, so I will keep the account honest and short. The Sour Diesel side argues for a lively, characterful high and the Sorbet for a smoother finish, but I will call that an inference from the parents rather than a claim from the record.
