Seb's take

Seb Silverback

A short-to-medium indica cross of LA Confidential and Sorbet, bred with flavour as the whole point: sweet, pungent LA Confidential aromas layered over Sorbet's more complex taste. Buds run small to medium, dense, hard, and thoroughly sticky — she does not travel discreetly. One dominant cola forms naturally, though she takes training well if you'd rather branch out.

Where it comes from

DNA Genetics made LA Sorbet with taste as the whole point, crossing the intense, complex flavour of Sorbet with the sweet, pungent aromas of LA Confidential. She comes out short to medium, the indica dominance keeping her compact, and she settles into most environments without complaint, indoors or out. A 70/30 indica-leaning plant built around the palate rather than the yield chart, though as it happens she manages both perfectly well.

Nose & flavour

This is where the strain earns its keep. Sweet and pungent from the LA Confidential side, layered over the more complex, intricate taste of Sorbet, the two working together rather than competing. The buds run light green to lime, dense and hard, and they are highly smelly and thoroughly sticky, so she does not travel discreetly. Flavour was the brief, and she answers it.

The high

The record leaves the effects unlisted, so I will not fabricate them. The 70 percent indica dominance points toward a relaxed, body-forward character, and the LA Confidential parentage reinforces it, but I would rather note the pedigree than invent an experience the record does not describe. Take it as a plant built for the palate first, and let the effect reveal itself in its own time.

Growing it

Short to medium, thanks to the indica dominance, and content in all environments, both indoors and out. She usually throws a single large main cola, but takes training well if you would rather increase the branching and the yield. Flowering runs a clean 56 days, and she returns 350 to 450 g/m². The dark green, fat indica leaves sit in good ratio to the dense, sticky buds. The record quotes no height figure and its THC entry is not one I would repeat, so I will hold to what stands: a compact, forgiving, aromatic grow.
