24 Carat crossed with a strain whose name — Hubbabubbasmelloscope — does rather more work than most breeders bother with. Sour, floral citrus notes carry old-school bubblegum character into a modern autoflower frame. The effect floats rather than flattens: sleepy, relaxed, calm without knocking anyone out cold.
Where it comes from
24 Carat crossed with a parent whose name - Hubbabubbasmelloscope - is longer than some breeders' entire catalogues, and Mephisto Genetics keep the bubblegum lineage front and centre. What the pairing does is carry old-school bubblegum character into a modern automatic frame: the sweetness of one side, the density of the other. Sixty per cent indica, and the retro flavour is the whole reason for the exercise.
Nose & flavour
Sour up front with a floral lift and citrus threading through, and beneath it the bubblegum note the lineage is named for - an old-fashioned sweet-shop smell brought forward a couple of decades. The record is more taken with the aroma than anything else, and on the strength of that family tree it has cause to be. Alluring rather than loud.
The high
The record logs strength only as medium, so I shall leave the number blank rather than invent one.
