Seb's take

Seb Silverback

The original Skywalker — Blueberry crossed with Mazar back in the late nineties — revamped here with Amsterdam Amnesia, an underground Dutch strain known for its potency. Grapefruit and citrus dominate the nose; the mostly sativa high runs happy, creative and heavy-hitting despite the cheerful fruit up front. A family tree worth knowing.

Where it comes from

Dutch Passion's original Skywalker — Blueberry crossed with Mazar, developed in the late 1990s — is the starting point here, revamped by crossing it onto Amsterdam Amnesia, an underground Dutch strain prized for its potency. That addition tips the whole thing toward the sativa end and lifts the intensity considerably. So the family tree runs deep: a celebrated late-nineties indica, given a second act by an Amsterdam heavyweight. The result is a mostly sativa hybrid with the flavour of the original and a good deal more force behind it.

Nose & flavour

Grapefruit leads, sharp and bright, with a broader citrus and fruit character behind it — a livelier, more sativa-forward nose than the original Skywalker's fruit-and-earth. The Amnesia inheritance shows clearly in that zest. A clean, appetising bouquet that flatters the daytime lean of the plant, sweet and sharp in equal measure.

The high

Happy and creative, with the heavy-hitting quality the Amnesia parent is known for — a mostly sativa effect that lifts the mind while carrying real weight behind it. The cheerful fruit up front rather understates the strength; this is not a gentle plant despite the bright nose. Lively, engaging company, best kept for hours when you have something to point that energy at.

Growing it

THC runs a substantial 22–26%, with 1% CBD. She flowers in around sixty-three days — quick for a plant with this much Haze-adjacent potency behind it — and returns 450–550 g/m². Height is not recorded, so I will leave it unstated rather than guess, though the sativa lean and Amnesia parentage suggest a grower should keep some room in reserve. A vigorous, flavourful, potent plant with a family tree well worth knowing, and a finish faster than its strength would lead you to expect.
