SkullRyder crosses Lowryder with Bubblebud for a sixty percent indica, thirty percent ruderalis build that punches above its small size. Fruity, earthy and citrusy on the nose; the high is relaxed, happy and euphoric. An improved take on the original Lowryder formula, modest in stature, generous in yield.
Where it comes from
Blackskull Seeds present SkullRyder as an improved Lowryder, and the breeding backs the claim: the best-performing Lowryder stock crossed with Bubblebud to lift the quality and the yield without losing the small stature. The make-up is 60% indica, 10% sativa and a full 30% ruderalis — that last figure the reason she flowers on her own clock and stays so compact. A workmanlike pedigree aimed at a specific problem, which is getting a genuinely useful crop from a very small plant. On that count the parentage is well chosen.
Nose & flavour
Fruity and earthy, with a citrus brightness threaded through — a fresh, uncomplicated nose rather than a heavy one. For all the ruderalis in her she carries a pleasant aroma, the Bubblebud side keeping things sweeter than the Lowryder heritage alone would manage. Light and agreeable, in keeping with the plant's modest size.
The high
Relaxed, happy and euphoric — a mild, good-natured effect in proportion to the gentle THC behind it. There is nothing here to trouble the newcomer or overstay its welcome; it settles pleasantly and lets you get on with the evening. An easygoing companion rather than a demanding one.
Growing it
THC is modest at 8–12%, with a medium CBD reading alongside. She flowers in sixty to seventy days and stays remarkably small — 20–50cm — returning 15–60g per plant depending on how she is run. Those are not vast numbers, but they arrive from a plant you could hide behind a chair, which is rather the point of the exercise. Undemanding, quick and discreet: a sound choice where space is the binding constraint and a heroic harvest was never the aim.
