A third Runtz autoflower in the family, this one from EGS — sweet, piney fruit on the nose, and a knockout stone to match at 28% THC. The high settles heavy: relaxed, euphoric, calming, better suited to seasoned tokers than newcomers. Low-maintenance and high-yielding, a sipping strain, not a session one.
Where it comes from
EGS's take on the autoflowering Runtz, built on the same Runtz and BF Super Auto #1 pairing that Barney's used, the modern classic crossed with a stable auto line to bring it onto a self-flowering clock. It is one of several such conversions doing the rounds, and this one aims squarely at potency and yield. The Super Auto side sets the calendar; the Runtz name supplies the pedigree and the appetite it built its reputation on.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and fruity, with a piney note running underneath, a slightly greener, more resinous reading of the Runtz nose than the tropical version some phenotypes give. Still unmistakably of the family, decadent and loud, the sort that charms even a fussy palate. A fragrant plant, and openly so.
The high
A knockout, by the record's own account. Relaxed, euphoric and calming, settling heavy at 28% THC, this is one better suited to seasoned hands than newcomers.
