Seb's take

Seb Silverback

A mostly-Indica autoflower carrying deep purple colouration through to harvest, with the citrus-lemon sharpness of the name giving way to a rounding sweetness. The effect opens cheerful and energetic before settling into a relaxed body calm - a fair balance for a compact automatic package. Reliable indoors or out, given some warmth.

Where it comes from

World Wide Cultivars took Purple Lemonade and crossed in Ruderalis to make it self-flowering, a mostly-Indica auto at seventy percent, built to carry the colour and the citrus of its namesake without the wait. The purple runs deep through to harvest, and the lemon is no afterthought either. A plant bred for three things at once: colour, flavour and speed, packed into one compact frame.

Nose & flavour

Sharp, sunny citrus-lemon leads the nose, bright enough to place at a distance, with a sweetness rounding off the finish. A clean, zesty profile; lemonade is a fair description rather than a fanciful one. Little earth, little heaviness, just citrus and sugar.

The high

The effect opens cheerful and energetic, euphoric enough to lift the mood, before easing into a relaxing body calm, a fair balance for a compact automatic. Bright at the top, settled at the bottom, and sociable throughout. A daytime auto that knows when to sit down.

Growing it

Fifty-six to seventy days from sprout, reaching around 150cm, a taller autoflower, so allow for the stretch. Yields run 397 to 488 g/m² at 20 to 22% THC, over dense, resinous, deeply purpled buds. Reliable indoors or out, the record notes, provided you keep warmth up and humidity down; the density that makes her handsome also makes her mind the damp. Otherwise an obliging grow.
