Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Auto Dark Purple crossed with Eleven Roses Auto, both pure Indica lines, bred tightly enough that her deep purple hue and citrus bite show up in nearly every phenotype. Sweet, minty and citrus on the nose; the high is calming and euphoric, relaxed through and through. Consistency was clearly the whole point.

Where it comes from

Two pure indica autoflowers behind her: Auto Dark Purple and Eleven Roses Auto, crossed by Delicious Seeds and bred tight for stability. The point of all that work is consistency: the deep purple colour and the citrus bite turn up in very nearly every phenotype rather than the lucky few. She reads as good as pure indica aside from the Ruderalis every autoflower carries. A plant chosen for reliability as much as for looks.

Nose & flavour

Sweet at the base, with a cool mint note lifting it and a wickedly citrus edge on top, the record's word, and a fair one. It is a livelier nose than the deep purple colour might lead you to expect, tart and fresh rather than heavy. The citrus is the signature, and it carries through cleanly.

The high

Relaxed and calming, with a euphoric lift to keep it pleasant rather than merely sedating, properly indica in character. A settling, end-of-day effect that eases you down without switching you off entirely, at a listed 24 percent THC that gives it genuine weight. Comfortable company for a quiet evening.

Growing it

An autoflower finishing in around sixty-five days, returning a heavy 600 g/m² indoors. No height is recorded, but as a stable, indica-dominant auto she will stay compact and dependable, phenotype to phenotype, which is rather the whole selling point. Being auto, she sets her own clock, so feed lightly early and let her get on with it. A consistent, generous grow with little in the way of surprises, deep purple by the finish.
