Where it comes from
Fast Buds take the famous Pineapple Express template, Skunk, Trainwreck and Hawaiian sativa lines, and fold in Ruderalis to produce an autoflowering version. The Ruderalis does its usual practical work, adding automatic timing without much altering the tropical character the other three parents supply. It leans slightly indica at 60 percent, a touch heavier than the photoperiod original. A sensible reworking of a cinema-famous name for growers who would rather not track a light schedule.
Nose & flavour
Sweet tropical pineapple dominates the nose, bright and juicy, with the Hawaiian lineage again earning the fruit on the label. It is a clean, cheerful aroma, the Skunk parent adding just enough base note to keep it from floating away entirely. Faithful to the name, and pleasant from grinder to exhale.
The high
The effect is calming and relaxed, with an appetite duly sharpened, the indica lean showing its hand more than the sativa here. At 20 percent THC it is comfortable rather than overwhelming, settling company for a quiet evening and, in all likelihood, a raided cupboard shortly after.
