How to grow Original Auto Cheese
Taste
Seb's take
An improvement on an already legendary Cheese line, sour, fruity and earthy on the nose in classic fashion. The high is relaxed, happy and calming, settling in without much fuss. A fine hash strain besides, for those who like their concentrates as unpretentious as the flower.
Where it comes from
Fast Buds set out to improve an already legendary strain here, Cheese, the famously pungent British indica, and brought it onto an automatic schedule in the doing. The record's framing is characteristically confident: no limit to perfection. What matters is the Cheese heritage, a 70% indica of real standing, made self-timing and easy to run. An automatic tribute to a classic, and by the breeder's account a worthy one. The pedigree carries it, as pedigree tends to.
Nose & flavour
Sour and earthy to lead, the unmistakable Cheese tang, with a fruit note softening the edges. It carries the funk the name promises, sharp and grounded at once, the sourness the star of it. Nothing sweet or subtle; this is the classic Cheese register, forthright and a touch pungent. It does not travel discreetly, and would not be Cheese if it did.
The high
Relaxed, happy and calming, an indica-led settling that eases in without much fuss. At 21% THC it has genuine substance, the sort that draws the shoulders down and the evening in. The mood stays pleasant and even rather than heavy-handed, good company for a quiet stretch. A comfortable, unhurried high in the classic Cheese manner. The sitting-down sort, handled kindly.
Growing it
A compact-to-medium automatic, 70 to 110cm, finishing flower in around 63 days. Indoor yields sit in the 400 to 550 g/m² band, with a CBD content under 1%. Beyond the flower, the record marks her an excellent producer of tasty, high-quality hash, a fine candidate for the extractor as well as the jar. An obliging, productive plant that asks little and gives a well-regarded classic in return. Keep your scissors clean and she rewards the care.
