How to grow Misty Kush
Taste
Seb's take
Misty and Master Kush combine for a body-numbing indica with a fruit-laced, sweet-lemon nose that belies the strength underneath. The high runs happy and euphoric before the relaxation settles in, energised in the head even as the body slows. Short, branchy, and low-maintenance, though slow to find her feet early on.
Where it comes from
Nirvana Seeds crossed Misty with Master Kush for this heavily indica plant, eighty per cent to the indica side, and the two parents lend their names honestly. Master Kush supplies the body and the backbone; Misty brings the sweeter, fruitier character over the top. A feminized strain built for those with a sweet tooth and no objection to a plant that settles the body firmly. The lineage is short and the pairing plain.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and lemon lead, the fruit-laced character belying the strength underneath. The record notes buds that get the sweet tooth going, a candied brightness sitting over the Kush base. It is an inviting nose, the citrus and sugar forward, the heavier notes held back. Approachable and moreish, whatever the plant has waiting behind it.
The high
The effect runs happy and euphoric before the relaxation settles in, energised and focused in the head even as the body slows. It is a body-forward indica with the mind kept surprisingly clear and lively, the sativa fifth pulling more than its weight up top. A layered experience, the lift and the ease arriving in sequence rather than at odds. Comfortable company that keeps you awake for it.
Growing it
She is not a fussy plant, the record says she can be left practically unattended through her cycle of 56 to 70 days, or eight to ten weeks. Short and branchy, she takes well to topping and suits a Screen of Green with a single plant filling the square metre. Like most indica-dominant varieties she is slow to get off the ground early on, so be patient at the start. Yields reach 500 to 600 g/m². A low-maintenance, forgiving grow for the grower short on time or nerve.
