Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Mexican, Pakistani Hash Plant and Durban genetics meet for a nose that trades the usual sativa citrus tang for exotic sandalwood, with licorice and citrus only just visible underneath. The high is relaxed, euphoric and energetic, sharpened by an intense focus. A refreshing departure from the sativa norm, by Sensi's own account.

Growing Mexican Sativa: what to expect

Feminized, so you'll not be sexing plants or evicting males. Photoperiod, so veg lasts exactly as long as you decide — see the vegetative stage on how long that ought to be.

Allow 11 weeks of flower, possibly more. Long-flowering lines reward the grower who doesn't count the days aloud — knowing the harvest signs matters more than the calendar here.

Tall, at 350 cm or better. Indoors that means training from early on; outdoors it means picking a spot the neighbours can't see over.

Not a heavy producer, and untroubled by that fact. Grow her for what she is rather than for the scales — though good practice will still add a little.

THC tests around 18%, which is strong by any sensible chart. Respect it accordingly.

Earthy on the nose — the old-school profile, done properly.

Reported effects lean relaxed — the sitting-down sort.
