Where it comes from
DNA Genetics crossed two of their most famous names, Chocolope and LA Confidential, and the result inherits neatly from each side. From LA Confidential comes the potency and the short stature; from Chocolope, the high yield. It is a 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid built as a genetic powerhouse, taking the useful traits of both parents rather than splitting the difference. A considered cross, in other words, with each parent contributing exactly the property it is known for.
Nose & flavour
Chocolate leads, as the name promises, with coffee close behind it and citrus cutting across the top to keep it from turning cloying. Beneath sits a woody sweetness that grounds the whole thing. It is a dessert-and-espresso sort of nose, rich and layered, the Chocolope heritage showing plainly. A properly indulgent profile, and an unusually coherent one.
The high
Brighter than the indica label might suggest. Euphoric and happy to open, with a focus to it that keeps the mind working, and then the hunger arrives, so approach the munchies accordingly.
