Seb Silverback

Emerald OG Kush and UK Cheese meet in a transatlantic, sativa-leaning cross that grows fast into a tall, pine-like plant. The bouquet is intricate rather than showy, and the head high leans toward good conversation over quiet reflection. No exotic colours here, just an honest lush green.

Where it comes from

Dinafem's transatlantic handshake: a female Emerald OG Kush from the American side, a male UK Cheese from ours. The result leans to the sativa despite the Kush in the name, and it carries the family traits of both without much fuss about it. Emerald OG Kush lends the backbone and the resin habit; UK Cheese, that unmistakable pungency the British scene built a small reputation on. Two continents, one seed line, and a plant that grows fast and pine-like, in the plain lush green of its mother rather than anything exotic.

Nose & flavour

The bouquet is intricate rather than showy, and the better for it. Nothing shouts. The Cheese parentage puts a savoury, tangy pungency underneath, while the Kush side threads through something sharper and resinous. It is a nose that rewards attention over first impressions, layered where lesser crosses are loud. Do not expect fireworks on the shelf; expect a plant that improves the closer you get to it.

The high

This one lives in the head. A bright, sociable lift that leans toward good conversation rather than quiet reflection, in keeping with the sativa dominance underneath. The record describes it as uplifting and talkative, the sort of thing that keeps an evening moving along agreeably rather than settling it into an armchair. Cheerful company, well behaved.

Growing it

Vigorous and quick to build, she stacks into a tall, pine-shaped plant that reaches for roughly 300cm given the room, so give her the headroom and mean it. Flowering runs 55 to 60 days, brisk for the height, and she rewards it with around 500 g/m². THC sits at 20%. Branching sites come long and plentiful, though some phenotypes hold shorter internodal spacing than others, so expect a little variation across a pack. The record calls her great for all kinds of growers, and the vigour bears that out. No exotic colouring to manage, just an honest green and a lot of it.
