Seb's take

Seb Silverback

King's Kush folded into a ruderalis line for a short autoflowering plant that still manages a decent yield. Leaves take on a purple hue as the thick, dense buds ripen, carrying citrus and spice in equal measure. The high settles relaxed, calming and properly medicinal.

Where it comes from

King's Kush folded into a ruderalis line by Green House Seeds for an automatic that stays short without giving up much in return. The Kush parent carries the flavour and the density; the ruderalis the speed and the fixed timetable. A compact autoflower that manages a genuinely respectable yield, which is not always the bargain automatics offer. The heritage keeps its quality on the shortened clock.

Nose & flavour

Citrus and spice in fairly equal measure, with a fruity thread running through. The thick, dense buds carry the aroma well. A warm, spiced nose rather than a purely sweet one.

The high

Relaxed and calming, a settling, soothing sort of effect that eases you toward the evening rather than firing you up. Composed company. One to meet at the end of the day rather than the start.

Growing it

A short autoflower of 80 to 90cm, well suited to tight spaces, with leaves that take on a handsome purple hue as the flowers ripen. Buds come in thick and dense. Flowering runs 63 days from seed, yields a heavy 600 g/m² for the format, and THC lands at 22%. Undemanding and compact, she rewards a grower who wants weight and colour without the height. A tidy plant that punches above its stature.
