How to grow Jorge’s Diamonds #1
Seb's take
Bred in partnership with grow-guide author Jorge Cervantes, this one is named with confidence rather than modesty. Dense, chunky buds arrive dripping in resin, and she shrugs off pests and mould, spider mites included, better than most. A strain that takes its own advice seriously.
Where it comes from
Dutch Passion, a Dutch house with more than thirty years behind it, built this one in partnership with the horticulturalist Jorge Cervantes, whose grow guides many a cultivator has learned from. The record names no parents, so I shall not invent a lineage; what it does record is the collaboration, which lends the confident name some justification. A strain that plainly takes its own advice.
Nose & flavour
The record keeps the tasting notes to itself, so I will do the same rather than guess. What it does describe is the look of her: dense, chunky buds dripping in resin, the sort of flowers that promise more than they say. A plant that dresses heavily for the occasion. The particulars of the nose, I leave for you to discover.
The high
Effects go unrecorded, and I will not manufacture an experience the record does not supply. Fifteen to twenty-two per cent THC gives a sense of the range, a broad band that rewards a measured first acquaintance. Meet her on her own terms; the resin alone suggests she has something to say.
Growing it
She flowers in sixty days for a yield of 200 to 500 g/m², a wide window, honest about its middle ground. Her real virtue is toughness: excellent resistance to pests and mould, spider mites in particular, which is no small thing for the grower who has fought them. Dense, resinous, chunky buds reward good support. A robust, low-drama plant that lives up to the expertise behind it.
