Northern Lights #5, Haze and Skunk combine into a vigorous outdoor grower that clears three metres given the room, with 600-800g per plant to show for it. Indoors she settles for a more modest 500g/m² across eight to ten weeks of flowering. A high calyx-to-leaf ratio keeps trimming mercifully brief.
Where it comes from
Northern Lights #5, Haze and Skunk combine in this one from Medical Seeds, a classic trio, sativa-dominant at seventy-five per cent, and built for scale. The Haze accounts for the vigour and the reach; the Northern Lights and Skunk for the resin and the yield. A hybrid with the constitution to grow very large indeed, given the room to do it.
Nose & flavour
The record keeps its own counsel on the particulars of the nose, so I shall not invent one, though a Haze and Skunk parentage rarely produces a shy plant. What is recorded is a high calyx-to-leaf ratio, which means more flower and less foliage, and a trim that finishes mercifully quickly. The scent, one suspects, does not travel discreetly.
The high
Effects go unrecorded here, so I will not put words in the plant's mouth. The lineage is stimulating by pedigree, a sativa-dominant Haze cross running fifteen to twenty per cent THC, and the sort of thing best measured rather than gulped. Take the parentage as your guide and approach accordingly.
Growing it
A vigorous grower with genuine ambition: outdoors she can clear three metres and return 600 to 800g per plant, harvested around mid-October. Indoors she settles for a more governable 500 g/m² across eight to ten weeks of flowering, after a fortnight or three of veg. She takes best to a ScrOG and rewards a hydroponic setup with her maximum. Give her the headroom the height demands, or train her early. Either way, she means to grow.
