Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Expert Seeds' resin champion Gorilla meets the Lilly landrace, brought directly from Congo, in an 80/20 indica-leaning cross with a fruity aroma. The high is strong enough to reset even a veteran's tolerance, deeply relaxing, and much favoured by medical users managing pain, stress and anxiety at 25% THC.

Where it comes from

Expert Seeds put their resin champion Gorilla to the Lilly landrace — a Queen Mother line brought, the record says, straight from Congo. That is the interesting half: a true African landrace, carrying its own wild, unhurried genetics, crossed into one of the stickiest modern hybrids going. The result leans 80/20 indica and counts among the more potent things in the catalogue. Geography and pedigree pulling in opposite directions, reconciled in a single plant.

Nose & flavour

The record gives little beyond a fruity aroma that it calls hard to resist — the Congolese landrace side, one suspects, lending something bright and unusual to the Glue's resinous base. Beyond that it stays quiet, and I will not embellish what it declines to describe.

The high

The record makes one claim worth repeating: a high strong enough to reset a seasoned tolerance, so that a veteran might feel it as though for the first time. Deeply relaxing with it. At 25% THC that is credible — this is a sipping strain, not a session one, and best approached with the respect its parentage earns.

Growing it

Feminised, 80/20 indica, flowering 56 to 63 days with yields of 400 to 500 g/m². No height is recorded, so none is claimed. The Congolese landrace half may bring some of the vigour and unpredictability such lines are known for, so a watchful eye through stretch would not go amiss. Resin, as the Gorilla name promises, in abundance.
