How to grow Critical Dawg
Taste
Seb's take
Critical + — arguably Spain's finest Skunk phenotype — crossed with the American legend Chemdawg for a hybrid that inherits record yields from one side and diesel-laced potency from the other. Old-school Skunk on the nose, sharpened by gas; the high leans Sativa, uplifting and happy, anchored by an Indica calm underneath. A genuine powerhouse.
Where it comes from
Medicann paired Critical + — arguably the finest Skunk phenotype ever selected in Spain — with the American legend Chemdawg, and the division of labour is clean: the former is responsible for the record-shattering yields, the latter for the potency and the diesel-like aroma. An old-school Skunk terpene profile from one parent, sharpened by a more sophisticated gas from the other. A genuine powerhouse, and a well-matched one.
Nose & flavour
Old-school Skunk on the nose, inherited straight from the Critical + side, sharpened and complicated by the Chemdawg's diesel gas. A pungent, unmistakable profile — the sort that reads as both classic and current at once. Loud, layered, and not remotely shy about it.
The high
The high leans to the sativa side, an uplifting sensation and a happy mood up top, while the indica genetics anchor it with a steady undercurrent of relaxation. A balanced experience, then — bright and cheerful without floating off, grounded without sinking. A powerhouse that keeps its footing.
Growing it
She flowers across 56 to 70 days and returns a solid 500 g/m², the yield inherited plainly from her Critical + parent. The record gives no height, so I will describe her temperament instead: a vigorous, resin-heavy plant carrying the Skunk structure and the Chemdawg's gas. A hybrid that draws the best from both sides — heavy from one, potent from the other — and grows with the confidence to match.
