The regular seed line of the same Congo cross, mixing male and female plants for growers who want to save their own seed as well as smoke it. Sweet strawberry and floral notes on the nose; the high is uplifting, energetic and creative. Resilient to cold despite her tropical ancestry, and better outdoors than in.
Where it comes from
Ace Seeds built this F1 hybrid from Congolese sativas, Bangi Congo and Congo #3, crossed with a Pakistani Chitral Kush. Seventy percent sativa, and the regular seed line means a mix of males and females, aimed at the grower who wants to save their own seed as well as smoke it. A tropical sativa with a mountain Kush folded in, and a plant intended to keep on giving as much genetic material as flower.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and floral, with a strawberry note leading, a clean and pleasant aroma rather than anything pungent or heavy. The Congolese sativa side shows in the brightness. It is an approachable, good-natured nose, the sort that flatters the plant and gives little hint of the resilience underneath.
The high
Uplifting, energetic and creative, the standard and welcome behaviour of a sativa-dominant hybrid. A clear, forward-tending effect suited to the daytime and to work you would rather be doing than sleeping through. Bright and encouraging, in keeping with the tropical parentage that shapes it.
Growing it
A regular plant at 15% THC, with a listed 0.15% CBD, flowering in 63 to 70 days, roughly nine to ten weeks. The record gives no height or yield figures to quote, so take the temperament: highly adaptable indoors but happiest outdoors, where the record says the maximum yields are found. She tolerates warm temperatures and, despite the tropical ancestry, is highly resistant to colder climates. Feed moderately through growth and lift the PK between the third and seventh weeks of flower. A hardy, self-perpetuating plant, better outdoors than in.
