Kera Seeds assembled Cherry Grapefruit from a proper roll-call of old-guard names: Chemdawg, Sour Diesel, OG Kush and White Widow. Four heavyweight lines went into this indica-dominant hybrid, 60% indica to 40% sativa, and somehow the sweetness of the grapefruit survived the crowd. It is a plant built on serious pedigree, the sort of genetic committee that could easily have overwhelmed itself, and instead kept its poise.
Nose & flavour
The nose is sweet and tropical, brighter and fruitier than a lineage of Chemdawg and Sour Diesel might lead you to expect. The grapefruit character comes through clearly, a fresh, zesty sweetness rather than the fuel-heavy funk of her parents. A pleasant surprise of a nose, given the company she keeps, and an easy one to enjoy.
The high
The effect runs creative and focused before settling into a relaxed close, a happy, engaged experience that eases rather than flattens.
