Where it comes from
Dutch Passion first bred Brainstorm, also called Hempstorm, back in 1996, crossing Northern Lights #5 with a Sativa they never named, and have updated the genetics twice since. So this is an old line, twice revised, with a documented history rather than a marketing one. The record calls it Indica-dominant and, notably, highly stabilised: generations of selection have left it uniform and predictable, which is precisely what makes it useful as more than just something to smoke.
Nose & flavour
No aroma notes are recorded, and I will not invent a nose Dutch Passion left blank. The Northern Lights and Haze in the line suggest something on the sweeter, spicier side, but that is inference rather than record, so I will leave the specifics to your own harvest, where the glass will settle the matter better than I can guess at it here.
The high
The effect list is blank, but the numbers are modest and honest, 12 to 14 percent THC across an Indica-dominant profile points to a gentle, settled sort of high rather than an overwhelming one. Growing it
Here is where she earns her keep. She finishes flower in around nine weeks for yields of 400 to 500 g/m², and throws plenty of tops and side branches without any need for topping or FIMming. Her real value, though, is stability: uniform, predictable plants make her an excellent mother for cloning and continuous harvests, and she suits a sea of green at sixteen plants to the square metre.
