Pine, lemon and earth on the nose, from a Blue Monster Blueberry and Colorado Ghost OG union that grows fast and hard before settling down to finish bud. The high is relaxed, happy and calming, and the trichome-heavy flowers back it up with yields up to 550g/m² indoors, 1000g a plant outside.
Where it comes from
Original Sensible Seeds crossed Blue Monster Blueberry with Colorado Ghost OG to make Blueberry Ghost OG, a fruited Blueberry line over an OG with Colorado provenance, the two pulling the plant toward a 60/40 Indica lean. The Ghost OG half brings the pine-and-fuel backbone; the Blueberry brings the sweetness and much of the colour. A high-performance hybrid, in the breeders' phrase, and the growing figures rather support the boast.
Nose & flavour
Pine and lemon up front, sharp and resinous, over an earthy base, the Ghost OG parent doing most of the talking here, with the fruit taking a quieter role than the name might lead you to expect. It is the more interesting for that: bright citrus and pine rather than straightforward berry. A cleaner, sharper nose than most of the family.
The high
The effect settles into relaxed, happy and calming, an even-tempered Indica-leaning high with no rough edges to it. At 22 percent THC it carries enough weight to see out an evening comfortably, without ever turning heavy-handed about it. Agreeable, unhurried company.
Growing it
She grows fast and vigorously through veg and early flower, then slows right down to concentrate on bud, a sensible habit that rewards the grower who has given her room first. She reaches a medium 120 to 160cm and finishes in 56 to 63 days, with large, trichome-heavy flowers curing down dense and resinous. Indoor yields run up to 550 g/m²; outdoors, given the conditions, as much as 1000g per plant. A productive plant that earns its keep.
