Where it comes from
Pyramid Seeds crossed Blueberry with Shishkaberry to make Blue Pyramid, an 80 percent Indica whose berry-on-berry parentage leaves no mystery about the direction of the nose. Both parents are fruit specialists, and the plant inherits their sugar accordingly. The name, gratifyingly, is not merely a house signature, the buds themselves build into broad, tapering, genuinely pyramidal shapes, so for once the branding and the botany agree with one another.
Nose & flavour
Tropical fruit and sweet berry throughout, thick and ripe, wrapped around buds so heavily resined that the aroma has plenty to hold onto. There is nothing sharp or savoury pulling against it, this is fruit from top to bottom, a straightforwardly sweet nose that dresses heavily for the occasion.
The high
The effect is relaxed, happy and calming, an even, unhurried Indica high that matches the plant's temperament rather than fighting it. At 18 percent THC it settles you without pinning you, the sort of thing that suits a quiet evening better than a busy afternoon. No surprises, and none wanted.
