Where it comes from
Rare Dankness bred Blue OX from Old Blue and OX, and kept it as a regular seed line, one for growers content to sort their own males from females in exchange for the fuller genetic hand that regulars deal. She sits at a decisive 90 percent Indica, which tells you most of what you need to know about her intentions before a word is said about the effect. A straightforward, heavy-leaning cross from a house that trades on exactly that.
Nose & flavour
Berry and blueberry lead, set over an earthy base with a soft floral note lifting the top, a pleasant, almost genteel aroma that rather undersells what follows. The nose is the polite handshake; the effect is the conversation you did not quite see coming.
The high
Here the manners end. She comes on strong and direct, euphoric, giggly and happy on the way in, then a heavy, settling body weight that the breeders themselves flag as potentially overwhelming and no place for a lightweight. Approach as you would a staircase in the dark. Expect a healthy appetite and a dry mouth to arrive with the rest, and at 21 percent THC, expect to be staying in.
