Black Dream crosses Jamaican Dream with Black Domina into a vigorous, well-proportioned plant carrying a large central cola over sturdy side branches. Fruity on the nose with hints of wood and spice, the high starts potent and active before settling into something relaxed and pleasant. A strain that knows how to finish an evening.

Where it comes from

Jamaican Dream crossed with Black Domina — an intriguing marriage of two opposites, the bright Caribbean sativa against the near-black indica weight. Eva Seeds have balanced the result at an even fifty-fifty, and the tension shows in the effect as much as the plant. Vigorous, well-proportioned, and sturdy, she carries a large central cola over robust side branches. Two very different parents, met halfway.

Nose & flavour

The formal notes go unrecorded, though the record describes a fruity nose with hints of wood and spice beneath — the Jamaican Dream lifting the top, the Black Domina grounding it. A brighter, more layered profile than the dark flowers might suggest. The specifics stay off the page, but the shape of it is clear enough.

The high

The record describes an effect in two acts: potent and active at the start, then easing into something relaxed and pleasant toward the end — the sativa parent up front, the indica behind. At eighteen to twenty-one per cent it is capable without overwhelming, and knows how to see out an evening. A high that begins upright and ends in the armchair.

Growing it

A sturdy, well-proportioned plant — eighty to a hundred centimetres, compact and manageable — that flowers quickly at forty-five to fifty-five days. The large central cola and robust side branches carry a generous 450 to 600 g/m² of resinous bud, so support them as the weight builds. Vigorous and forgiving in growth, she asks little beyond the room to stand up straight. A tidy, high-yielding grow for a steady hand.
