Seb's take

Seb Silverback

3 Bears OG crossed with Walter White, both F4 lines from Mephisto Genetics, and evenly balanced with resin across leaf and flower alike. Compact and consistent in quality, with a high climbing skyward — 'High' being all Mephisto will confirm. A genuine all-rounder, no fuss required.

Where it comes from

Two F4 lines from Mephisto Genetics, brought together: 3 Bears OG crossed with Walter White, each bred out to a fourth filial generation before they were introduced. That patience shows in the result, a settled, predictable auto rather than a wild first cross. The name does the arithmetic for you, folding the bears of one parent into the frost of the other, and the plant is an even seventy per cent indica for it.

Nose & flavour

No formal tasting notes are on record, so the fair thing is to describe the plant rather than invent a palate for it. What Mephisto do confirm is the frost: resin sits evenly across both leaf and flower, the kind of coverage that will gum up your scissors come trim day. Clean them as you were taught, and often.

The high

The breeder commits only to one word on potency — 'High' — and declines to put a number to it, which for an honest auto is fair enough. Take it at face value. What the record does stress is balance: an even, well-rounded plant across the board, the sort of all-rounder that asks for no particular occasion and suits most of them.

Growing it

A compact autoflower, fifty to seventy centimetres tall, which keeps her discreet and well within a modest tent. Seed to harvest runs roughly sixty-five to seventy-five days, and she returns somewhere between 90 and 150 grams per plant — a respectable haul for something this size. The flowers grow tight and consistent, the quality even from top to bottom. A genuine all-rounder, and forgiving of enthusiasm besides.
