Night Queen, first prize at the 2015 Champions Cup for potency, crossed with Mazar-i-Sharif and tolerant of whatever mistakes a grower brings to her. Sweet earth on the nose; the high is relaxed, euphoric and calming, resinous and heavy-yielding in the way only a genuine indica manages.
Where it comes from
Night Queen, which took first prize for potency at the 2015 Champions Cup, crossed with Mazar-i-Sharif — Dutch Passion pairing a decorated indica with one of the old Afghan names. The Night Queen parent supplies the elevated THC and the taste; the Mazar heritage lends resin and constitution. A resinous, heavy-yielding indica, and a forgiving one — tolerant, by the breeder's account, of whatever mistakes a grower brings to her.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and earthy — a clean, grounded pairing that suits the plant's restful nature and, by the breeder's telling, its effects besides. The sweetness leads, the earth anchors, and neither overreaches. An uncomplicated, agreeable nose without sharp edges; the sort of profile that reassures rather than challenges. A pleasant thing to grind, and an honest one.
The high
Relaxed, euphoric and calming — a settled, agreeable experience true to a genuine indica. A pleasant lift at the outset that eases into something quiet and composed.
