How to grow Auto CBD Kush 1:1
Taste
Seb's take
Afghani landrace lines meet a CBD-rich Ruderalis, and the resulting cross keeps its THC modest at 6.5% while the calm stays generous. Sweet earth with hints of lemon and citrus on the nose; the effect is calming and relaxing, only slightly psychotropic — an everyday sort of strain.
Where it comes from
Kush Auto sits at one side of this cross, and its roots run all the way back to the mountain-born Afghani landraces — the old stock from which so much Kush ultimately descends. Herbies Seeds paired it with a CBD-rich Ruderalis phenotype, yielding a sturdy indica-dominant autoflower with fourteen percent CBD against a gentle six and a half of THC. The Afghani heritage shows in the constitution: hardy, resinous, and equally content indoors or out.
Nose & flavour
An old-school Kush nose, exactly as the heritage promises. Sweet earth leads, with clear hints of lemon and other citrus fruit threaded through it. Nothing modern or engineered about the profile — this is the classic article, grounded and faintly sweet, the sort of aroma that has been reassuring growers for decades. Honest, traditional, and all the better for it.
The high
Typical indica effects, in modest measure — calming and relaxing, only slightly psychotropic given the low THC. An everyday sort of experience rather than an occasion, gentle enough to suit however and whenever one might reach for it. The Kush character is present without the heaviness that often accompanies it; restful, but not overwhelming.
Growing it
A sturdy plant that performs well in either setting, indoors or out. Flowering spans fifty-six to seventy days — a fairly standard window with room to finish early — and she reaches a tallish hundred and forty to a hundred and sixty centimetres, so headroom deserves a thought before planting. Yields run 458 to 488g per square metre, a generous return for a CBD-forward variety. The Afghani backbone makes for a resilient, forgiving grow; a plant that stands up well to a beginner's enthusiasm.
