Seb Silverback

Neville's Haze crossed with Cambodian and Laotian lines, soft and woody on the nose with a cooling menthol note and earthy undertones. The high is genuinely psychedelic — the sort that tips into philosophising and self-contemplation rather than idle chatter.

Where it comes from

Green House Seeds built this from Neville's Haze crossed with Cambodian and Laotian lines, a pure statement of Southeast Asian Sativa heritage at eighty percent Sativa. The two landraces beneath Neville's Haze are what give her the depth and the long, uncompromising flowering; this is a plant bred for character rather than convenience. An Ultra Haze in the fullest sense, and not one to be hurried.

Nose & flavour

A soft, woody scent with a cooling menthol note and earthy undertones beneath, which is a more layered and less obvious profile than most in the family. It is the menthol that surprises, fresh and clean over the wood and earth. A subtle, sophisticated nose that reveals itself gradually rather than announcing all at once.

The high

A genuinely psychedelic experience, described as an explosion of consciousness that tips the mind toward philosophising, self-contemplation and meditation. This is the deep end of the Sativa canon, better suited to reflection than to company, and to be approached with a clear afternoon. At 16.22% THC the number is moderate but the character emphatically is not.

Growing it

A long season at ninety-one to ninety-eight days in flower, so this is a plant for the patient grower, standing a medium hundred to a hundred and fifty centimetres. Yields reach a heavy seven hundred grams the square metre, a fair reward for the wait. The long flowering is the price of the character; there is no shortcut to a Haze of this depth. At 16.22% THC she gives quality of experience over raw potency. A grow that rewards discipline.
