Where it comes from
Barney's Farm built this from Animal Cookies and Sour Apple, and the split is a genuine one, fifty percent Indica to fifty Sativa rather than the usual rounding. The Animal Cookies lends the dense, sweet body; the Sour Apple the orchard tang that gives her the name. A balanced pairing on paper that turns out balanced in the glass too, which is rarer than it ought to be.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and earthy, with actual apple coming through clearly on the nose, true to her parentage. It is the apple that lifts her out of the ordinary, tart and fresh over a rich, earthy base. The record speaks of dense terpene richness, and the jar bears that out; this is a full, layered profile rather than a single note.

A genuine fifty-fifty split shows in the experience: relaxed and happy on one side, a creative, heady spark on the other, with a lingering euphoria that outlasts the exhale.
