Where it comes from
Super Silver Haze crossed with Afghan, a marriage of one of the great modern haze hybrids to a pure indica landrace, which is a time-honoured way to give a haze both body and stability. The Super Silver Haze supplies the soaring, citrus-bright sativa character; the Afghan, the resin and the ballast that keep it from running away with itself. Green House settle the balance at 65/35 in the sativa's favour, and the result is a haze with its feet on the ground. A considered cross from a house that has bred a great many of them.
Nose & flavour
Lemon and cream up top, with citrus running through the whole, a bright, almost dessert-like haze nose, the cream lending a roundness the sharp lemon would otherwise lack. The trichomes carry it early and carry it well. It is among the more memorable aromas in a family already known for them, and it does not take much of the jar to fill a room.
The high
Expansive but controlled: uplifting and clear-headed to open, the head kept light while the body settles into a steady, calm rhythm rather than a heavy one. The Afghan keeps the haze from scattering; the haze keeps the Afghan from sinking. At 25% THC it has genuine weight behind the clarity, so pace it. Growing it
