Amnesia, Chem Dawg and Kubanskiy Ubiyza combine into an undemanding plant, resistant to fungal disease and tolerant of a grower's mood swings with water. Spicy and citrus on the nose with a hint of incense and ginger on the exhale, and a powerful psychedelic Sativa high suited to sociable use. High resin, and a genuine candidate for BHO.
Where it comes from
Kalashnikov Seeds have folded three lines into one here: Amnesia, Chem Dawg and Kubanskiy Ubiyza. The first two are familiar names in the coffeeshop and American canons respectively; the third is the house's own Russian stock, which is where the resilience is bred in. The result leans Sativa, forty percent Indica to sixty, and wears its parentage lightly. An undemanding plant with a soldierly constitution, which one might have predicted from the company that raised it.
Nose & flavour
An unusual scent, spicy and citrus, not quite like anything in the immediate family. On the exhale it holds that primary character but adds a hint of incense and a note of ginger, which is a good deal more interesting than most manage. It does not travel discreetly, and it does not need to.
The high
A powerful, psychedelic Sativa effect, the sort that suits company and conversation rather than a quiet evening in. At 24% THC it has ample reach, so it favours sociable use over solitary. The resin, meanwhile, is heavy enough that she is a genuine candidate for concentrate work should you have the equipment and the inclination.
Growing it
Sixty-three to sixty-five days in flower, standard pace, on a medium frame of a hundred to a hundred and thirty centimetres. Yields run a solid five hundred to six hundred grams the square metre. She is resistant to fungal trouble and tolerant of a grower's inattention with the watering can, thriving in either excess or drought, which makes her suitable for beginner and old hand alike.
