How to grow Alienz
Taste
Seb's take
WatermelonZ crossed with Velvet Moon into a 60/40 Indica with a sense of humour — sociable, giggly, prone to starting conversations before it settles the body down gently. Sweetness meets earthier tones with a chemical edge on the nose. Christmas-tree structure, long branches, and colas wide enough to reward the extra support.
Where it comes from
WatermelonZ crossed with Velvet Moon, a pair of modern, dessert-leaning lines, worked by Green House into a 60/40 indica with a sociable streak. The build is textbook Green House: strong vigour and a classic Christmas-tree structure, filling out with long secondary branches that carry wide, resin-heavy colas. The parentage is the fashionable end of the catalogue rather than the landrace end, and it shows in the sweetness and the yield both. A show plant, bred to fill a tent.
Nose & flavour
Sweetness first, with earthier tones grounding it and a subtle chemical edge sharpening the finish, a profile that mirrors the plant's two-sided character, half dessert and half funk. The chemical note keeps the sweetness from becoming simple. It is a fuller nose than the fruit-forward name suggests, and it carries well on the heavy resin.
The high
Sociable and mood-lifting from the first, the sort that draws out laughter and conversation before it does anything else, then easing into a softer body feel that stays friendly rather than heavy. At 24% THC the lift has real substance behind it, but the temperament never turns sedating. Good company, in short, and inclined to keep the room talking.
Growing it
Tall and structured: she runs from roughly 120 to 180cm on that Christmas-tree frame, so give her the headroom and support the long branches before the colas fill and test them. Flowering is brisk for the size, 56 to 63 days. The yield is the eye-catcher: up to 1,401g per plant, which is a serious return and a fair reason to stake her properly from the start. Feminized seed keeps the pack clean. Vigorous and generous, provided you give her the room and the scaffolding she plainly asks for.
