Punta Roja and Mendo Breath give this one a 70/30 sativa lean, tall and reaching by nature but weighted down with dense, resin-rich, often vividly coloured buds. Vanilla, sweet pineapple on the nose; the high is uplifting and euphoric before a relaxed, grounded finish. A name that suits the arc rather well.
Where it comes from
Green House Seeds crossed Punta Roja, a Colombian red, with Mendo Breath, landing at 70% sativa. The Punta Roja side pushes the height and the stretch and lends the vivid colouring, while the Mendo Breath side adds density to the flowers and warmth to the later stages of the high. A name that suits the arc of the thing rather well, as it happens.
Nose & flavour
Vanilla and sweetness up front, with pineapple lifting the top of it, a soft, dessert-leaning aroma rather than anything sharp. The Mendo Breath side shows in the creamy note. It is an inviting, rounded profile, and the resin-rich buds carry it well right through to the striking colours they take on late in flower.
