How to grow Yumbolt 47
Seb's take
Yumbolt crossed with AK-47 — Indica in name, though she grows with a Sativa's vigour and finishes considerably faster. Recommended chiefly for medicinal use, at twenty per cent THC. A short, no-nonsense record for a short, no-nonsense plant.
Where it comes from
World of Seeds crossed Yumbolt with AK-47 for this one, landing heavily indica at 90% to 10% sativa. Yumbolt brings the indica body and resin; AK-47 the vigour and the reliability its name has long stood for. The interesting quirk the record notes: though indica in makeup, she grows vigorously like a sativa but keeps a much shorter flowering cycle — the best of both habits, in other words, folded into one plant.
Nose & flavour
The record logs no flavour notes, so I will not invent an aroma for it. It is a short, no-nonsense record for what appears to be a short, no-nonsense plant, and I would rather leave the nose honestly blank than dress it in guesses. The parentage — Yumbolt and AK-47 — carries its own reputations, but I will let the grower's own harvest report the scent rather than write one here.
The high
No effects are itemised beyond the record's note that the plant is recommended chiefly for medicinal use — which I will set aside, as Seb does not deal in that. What remains to say honestly is that this is a 90% indica at 20% THC, and I will let that speak to its likely weight without asserting a sensation the record does not spell out. A settling indica, in temperament if not in detail.
Growing it
A feminized plant that grows with a sativa's vigour despite its indica makeup, and finishes considerably faster than that vigour might suggest — flowering runs 55 to 65 days, around eight to nine weeks at a standard pace. Yields sit at a solid 500 g/m². No height figure is logged, so I will not state one; the vigorous habit suggests a plant worth keeping an eye on for size. A straightforward, quick-turning indica. THC around 20%.
