Where it comes from
Cherry Pie crossed with a second-generation Girl Scout Cookies line, the same broad family as the better-known Wedding Cakes, here in Purple Caper Seeds' regular, non-feminised form. The breeder is candid that she tastes more of cherry cookies than of any wedding, which the parentage rather explains. Offered as regular seed, she is a plant for the grower who wants males in the mix and the freedom to select his own keepers. A characterful cut with an honest description attached.
Nose & flavour
A fuller nose than most in the family, vanilla and honey sweetness, a buttery softness, and a note of pepper cutting through the flowery top. The breeder's own summary is cherry cookies, and that captures the sweet-and-baked character well. Rich and layered rather than simply sugary, she carries enough complexity to keep the palate interested past the first draw.
