Where it comes from
Barney's Farm introduced Sweet Tooth in 2000 and it wasted little time collecting silverware — a Cannabis Cup winner across 2000, 2001 and 2002. The genetics gather Afghani, Nepalese and Hawaiian stock, which is a fair spread of air miles for a single plant to carry: two mountain landraces and an island one. Indica-led at seventy percent, with the Asian side setting the shape and the Hawaiian lending a little lift.
Nose & flavour
The nose is sweet first and foremost — the name is no accident — with a floral note over it and berry underneath. A dessert-leaning aroma, delicate rather than pungent, that lives up to its billing. Sweet and soft, the berry giving it just enough depth to keep from turning one-note.
The high
At twenty percent THC the effect is substantial but genial — indica-leaning, relaxed and happy, with a euphoric warmth rather than a flattening weight. Content company that settles you comfortably without pinning you to the furniture. The sort of even, agreeable high three Cannabis Cups tend to recognise. Best kept for an unhurried evening.
Growing it
Compact and well-behaved at eighty to 90cm, she suits a grower working without much headroom. Flowering runs fifty-five to sixty days for a yield of 550 g/m² — a strong return from so tidy a frame. Indica structure throughout, even and manageable. A straightforward plant with a decorated pedigree, asking little more than the usual care and giving back rather more than her size suggests.
