Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Built to carry Green Poison's better qualities into an autoflowering frame, this Early Skunk and Critical cross stays stubby and heavily side-branched at just over a metre. Sweet and spiced on the nose, the cerebral high suits low doses and beginner consumers well — forgiving of enthusiasm on both ends of the growing and the smoking.

Where it comes from

Royal Queen Seeds set out to carry the better traits of Green Poison into an autoflowering frame, and reached for Early Skunk, Critical and a ruderalis line to do it. The indica sits at sixty percent, the sativa a slim ten, the ruderalis making up the automatic timing. What comes of it is a stubby, heavily side-branched plant that performs across most environments without much fuss — an old Skunk reputation packed into a modern, forgiving shape.

Nose & flavour

The nose runs spiced and skunky with a fruity lift, the sweetness the breeder highlights sitting just underneath. Not the loudest Skunk on the shelf, but characterful — enough pungency to know what you're holding, softened by that fruit. A straightforward, agreeable aroma that gives its lineage away.

The high

At around fifteen percent THC the effect keeps its manners — a cerebral, uplifting sort of high rather than a flattening one. Relaxed and happy with a euphoric edge, it suits low doses and newer consumers particularly well, being forgiving of enthusiasm on that front. Pleasant company that knows when to stop.

Growing it

A forgiving grow, well suited to a first attempt. She stays stubby — typically forty to 80cm, though the breeder allows up to 110cm at the maximum — with plenty of side branches carrying decent bud. Flowering runs fifty-six to sixty-three days, roughly nine weeks from seed, for a yield of 400 to 450 g/m². Adaptable across environments and undemanding throughout. A plant that rewards the beginner rather than testing them.
