Where it comes from
Dutch Passion's Snow Bud crosses Afghani with South African stock for a mostly sativa hybrid — 60% to that side — that leans decidedly mental in its character. The Afghani supplies the resin and the ballast; the South African the reach and the cerebral tilt. It is a productive, quick-finishing plant built around a bright, thought-provoking effect rather than a heavy one, which the sativa majority bears out. An interesting pairing of a mountain indica with an African sativa, and a plant that takes clearly after the latter.
Nose & flavour
A skunky smell and taste at the core, lifted by a distinct cinnamon note and a broader spiced character — a warm, faintly exotic bouquet over an earthy base. It is a pleasant, unusual nose, the cinnamon giving it a lift that the plain skunk register would otherwise lack. Spiced and green rather than sweet or fruity, and the more memorable for it.
